My Husband, Brad Toft, Will Make A Great Senator
Jill Toft shares why she believes her husband will represent the 5th District well in the state senate.
I am a private person, but I would never pass on an opportunity to speak out in support of my husband, Brad Toft. I do so today, in order that people get to know the man that I know, in contrast to what his critics want you to believe.
I can identify with what Mrs. Mullet is experiencing with the rigors of this campaign and I admire her willingness to speak out in favor of her husband. That is the right thing to do. I have already done the same for Brad. In our 17 years of marriage I have come to value his willingness to fight, to protect our family, to make sacrifices and put himself into the public square for criticism. Like many of us, Brad has suffered setbacks and overcome challenges in his life, which is one of the qualities I believe make him uniquely qualified to represent us.
It’s my privilege to be supporting my husband by encouraging him in his passion to serve, and showing civility in what is a very difficult race. I pray for him every day and continue to be his sounding board amidst the ever present noise. And after sharing him with community for these past few months, our family looks forward to having him home for awhile before he goes off to serve in the senate
I want to thank the people who have supported Brad’s candidacy and our family. This race has been a very special experience for us, and you have supported us in a way that makes my heart full. Your notes of encouragement, your prayers, financial support and volunteerism have moved his candidacy for the senate from long-shot to likely. Brad will make a great Senator.
Thanks for reading,
Jill Toft
